Huawei Digital Power Technologies, a unit of Chinese multinational tech giant Huawei, has signed a deal with Ghana-based solar developer Meinergy Technology to build a 1 GW solar plant coupled with 500 MWh of storage in Ghana over the next years.
[pdf] The Shagaya Renewable Energy Park was created as part of Kuwait's ambitious plan to generate 15% of its energy by using renewable sources by 2030. Phase 1 of the plan was developed by KISR and consists of a 50 MW CSP plant, 10 MW PV, and 10 MW Wind.
[pdf] The BESS project will have an installed capacity of around 30 MWh, which will be installed at ENGIE Energía Perú’s ChilcaUno Thermoelectric Power Plant, and will allow the plant to operate at full capacity, which translates into more efficient energy for the country, as well as contributing to improve the stability of the national power grid.
